The Challenge
Pre-launch wishlist numbers were far behind target, and gameplay clips posted from the studio's dev account got almost no traction against thousands of similar indie game accounts competing for the same feed space.
The Approach
A views and likes boost applied to the strongest gameplay clips gave them enough early engagement to compete in the algorithm's initial distribution test, and a few clips went on to reach well beyond the boosted numbers. Wishlist link clicks followed the view growth closely.
